The entry and garage are separated from the main thermal envelope to optimise the performance of the primary living areas. Solar panels on the north-facing roof generate electricity, and the home is fully electric.

Certified to meet Passive House Plus standard, the house achieves an annual zero-energy balance, meaning it produces as much energy as it consumes over the course of a year.
